It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

got tagged alot with this one. so I figured I might do it, since I'm bored as hell. so, I'm gonna write 8 facts about myself. might be interesting for you, might not. probably the last one xD

1. I used to collect coins and stamps as a kid... yeah, I know.
2. I never cry when I'm watching a sad movie with other people. I'm like a rock. but when I'm watching a movie alone I turn into this leak water balloon. xD "the last samurai" always get me when I'm alone by the way. the emperors speech near the end there, damn... xD
3. I've played drunken pool with one of norways biggest football stars (soccer to you americans). and stole two beers from him afterwards.
4. I wrote, directed and played the lead role in a martial arts/comedy film that actually won "best film" at a local film festival.
5. I was told by a rather well known norwegian pianist that I have a great singing voice.
6. I do card tricks and XCM (xtreme card manipulation).
7. I spend way too much money on DVDs. right now I'm working on my horror collection. béla lugosi ftw!
8. I can't come up with another fact. it's like those puzzles when you have to spot 5 differences in two pictures. I can find 4 in like 10 seconds, but that last one. goshdarnit, I can never find it xD

You are like.... epic. I, too, spend too much money on material things. But they're books. I try not to cry when I'm with people, and I succeed... most of the time. I did cry once when someone died in a book in class. All the girls were crying!

hehe, napkins ey? saw a woman on norwegian tv that collected napkins. she had them all organized and wrote down every single one she got in a book with detalils such as the date she got them, and where she got them. and I think she had well over 20000 different napkins or something xD crazeh
